Buffalo gun club recently received a Grant from Friends of the NRA for $3,000.00 dollars. The grant money was requested last winter is helping to offset costs for a newly formed youth shooting group aligned with Scholastic Clay Target Program. (SCTP)
Buffalo Gun Club, its president Wally Shelstad, the board of directors and membership authorized this expansion last winter into the SCTP program. Youth is our future. Buffalo Gun Club has had over 30 youths participating in the program since March and plans to expand the program in the spring. Buffalo gun club was recently awarded the "Club of the year for 2007" by the Amateur Trap Shooting Association at the Grand All American shoot in Sparta, IL.

Buffalo Gun club would ask that you help support our youths by attending a Friends of the NRA event in your area. The monies stay in the local community to support various groups such as ours.
The grant money received by Buffalo Gun Club is being used to buy safety equipment, ammunition, targets and training materials for the youth program. Buffalo Gun Club is located 2 miles east of town on Hwy. 55.
